Prestar’s telescopic tongs for steel sheet packs are designed for safe, stable, and damage-free handling of stacked steel sheets. With a maximum load capacity of 5,000 kg, these tongs are ideal for heavy-duty use in storage halls, cutting lines, and steel service centers.

Thanks to their telescopic gripping arms, the device easily adapts to different sheet sizes – with widths from 900 to 2,500 mm, lengths from 2,500 to 6,100 mm, and bundle heights up to 1,000 mm.

The tongs are operated directly from the crane cabin and equipped with limit switches for precise control and reliable, fault-free performance throughout the entire lifting cycle.
Optional signalization ensures accurate alignment and safe positioning during operation.

We design each device custom-made for the specific application – based on material type, dimensions, suspension method, and control system preferences.

This particular set of telescopic tongs was recently shipped to a customer in Mexico, where it will become part of a sheet handling operation.
