Prestar s.r.o. presents a new heavy-duty solution for steel processing environments - a hydraulic clamp adapter for forklift trucks, specially designed for the manipulation of hot steel billets and semi-finished products.
Forklift billet clamp is mounted on a standard ISO 4A forklift plate and connected to two hydraulic circuits of the forklift. All functions are controlled directly from the operator's cabin. The clamp enables efficient handling of round steel billets, with automatic switching between external or internal gripping depending on the billet diameter.
Forklift attachment for round billets is suitable for high-temperature environments, including removal of hot billets from furnaces. The design accounts for short-term radiant heat exposure and includes integrated pressure gauges to control clamping force, preventing product deformation.
