Code of Ethics of PRESTAR, s.r.o.
The Code of Conduct is a tool that helps ensure that the company's day-to-day activities and the actions of all its employees conform to established principles. It is a set of specific rules based on the values and principles of the organisation that define the standard of professional conduct. This document is an internal regulation of the company and is binding on all its employees.
1. Basic behavioural requirements
Compliance with the law is the foundation of the company's ethical standards. We treat ourselves and all partners with respect. PRESTAR, s.r.o. always abides by all applicable laws, regulations, rules and standards. Where the Company's policies or Code of Ethics conflict with applicable law, compliance with the law is always required.
2. Protection of the company's reputation
Employees are obliged to act and behave in such a way that they represent PRESTAR, s.r.o. and their behaviour, appearance or expression does not damage or disparage the employer's reputation. We behave proactively towards ourselves and our customers.
3. Management
Managers are role models of moral and ethical qualities for other employees and company representatives. They are responsible for monitoring compliance with the Code of Ethics by their subordinates.
4. Business and third party relationships
We promote fair competition and comply with antitrust laws. PRESTAR, s.r.o. honors and observes the rules of fair and open competition. Every representative of the company protects these rules and avoids situations leading to their violation. Employees shall not engage in cartel activities, such as agreements to exchange information with competitors or trading companies on prices, entering into bid contracts or other illegal business practices. We do not offer or solicit any benefits.
5. Compliance with the principles of conduct of the supplier PRESTAR, s.r.o.
PRESTAR, s.r.o. requires its suppliers to adhere to the same principles of conduct as set out in this Code of Conduct for the company itself.
6. Intellectual property of others
PRESTAR, s.r.o. protects its own secrets and respects the intellectual property rights of others. Employees shall not obtain confidential information of other parties by unauthorized means or disclose it without permission.
7. Conflict of interests
Employees must avoid situations in which there may be a conflict between their personal interests and those of the company. Each employee must immediately inform his or her supervisor of a potential conflict of interest.
8. Relationship with employees
For PRESTAR, s.r.o., a mutually dignified relationship with employees based on respect is key. Working conditions comply with legal standards and regulations.
9. Protection and use of property
Employees have a duty to protect the company's assets and use them effectively. Theft or waste has a direct impact on the company's bottom line. Any suspected misuse of assets must be reported and investigated.
10. Environment
The company complies with all environmental regulations and minimises the impact of its activities. It focuses on water quality, air emissions, energy savings and CO2 reduction.
11. Representative of the Code of Ethics
The highest representative of the Code of Ethics is the Company's General Manager, Production Director and System Manager.
12. Principles of non-infringement
The Company guarantees that employees who submit comments and complaints or report violations of the Code will not be subjected to negative treatment by the employer.
13. Violation of the Code
Disciplinary action may be taken in the event of a breach of the Code in accordance with the law and the Company's internal rules.
14. Investigation of complaints
The company ensures the confidentiality of complainants and fair resolution.
