Code of Ethics of PRESTAR, s.r.o.
The Code of Ethics is a tool designed to ensure that the daily activities of the company and the conduct of all its employees align with established principles. It consists of a set of specific rules derived from the organization’s values and principles, defining the standard of professional conduct. This document is an internal regulation of the company and is binding for all its employees.
1. Basic Conduct Requirements
Compliance with laws forms the foundation of the company’s ethical standards. We treat each other and all partners with respect. PRESTAR, s.r.o. always adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, rules, and standards. If the company’s principles or Code of Ethics conflict with applicable law, compliance with the law is always required.
2. Protection of the Company’s Reputation
Employees are obligated to act and behave in a manner that represents PRESTAR, s.r.o., ensuring that their actions, behavior, or statements do not harm or discredit the employer’s good name. We act proactively toward each other and our customers.
3. Management
Managers serve as role models of moral and ethical qualities for other employees and company representatives. They are responsible for monitoring compliance with the Code of Ethics by their subordinates.
4. Business Relations and Relations with Third Parties
We promote fair economic competition and comply with antitrust laws. PRESTAR, s.r.o. upholds and adheres to the rules of honest and open economic competition. Every company representative protects these rules through their actions and prevents situations that could lead to their violation. Employees must not engage in cartel activities, such as agreements to exchange information with competitors or business entities regarding prices, contract bids, or other illegal business practices. We neither offer nor request any undue advantages.
5. Compliance with Supplier Conduct Principles of PRESTAR, s.r.o.
PRESTAR, s.r.o. requires its suppliers to adhere to the same conduct principles as outlined in this Code of Ethics for the company itself.
6. Intellectual Property of Others
PRESTAR, s.r.o. protects its own confidential information and respects the intellectual property rights of others. Employees must not obtain confidential information from other parties through unauthorized means or disclose it without permission.
7. Conflict of Interest
Employees must avoid situations where their personal interests could conflict with the interests of the company. Every employee is obligated to promptly inform their supervisor of any potential conflict of interest.
8. Relationship with Employees
For PRESTAR, s.r.o., maintaining a mutually respectful relationship with employees based on dignity is essential. Working conditions comply with legal standards and regulations.
9. Protection and Use of Property
Employees are obligated to protect the company’s property and use it efficiently. Theft or waste directly impacts the company’s performance. Any suspicion of property misuse must be reported and investigated.
10. Environmental Protection
The company complies with all environmental protection regulations and minimizes the impact of its activities. It focuses on water quality, air emissions, energy conservation, and CO2 reduction.
11. Code of Ethics Representative
The highest representatives of the Code of Ethics are the General Director, Production Director, and System Manager of the company.
12. Non-Retaliation Policy
The company guarantees that employees who submit comments, complaints, or report violations of the Code will not face negative consequences from the employer.
13. Breach of the Code
In case of a breach of the Code, disciplinary measures may be taken in accordance with legal regulations and the company’s internal rules.
14. Investigation of Complaints
The company ensures the confidentiality of complainants and fair resolution of issues.
